Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the curl creme and the curl gel?
Think of our Hydrating Curl Creme as your moisture base, it softens, defines and hydrates. Our Enhancing Curl Gel goes on top to set your curl pattern, add hold, define and reduce frizz as your hair dries. Most curlies use both together: creme first on soaking wet hair, then gel on top.
I've tried your products but my hair is still frizzy. What am I doing wrong?
The most common culprit is product application on hair that isn't wet enough. Styling products need to go onto soaking wet hair. Also try applying your gel in a second layer when your hair is about 80% dry for extra frizz control.
How much product should I be using?
A good starting point is about a 50p-piece-sized amount of curl cream and a similar amount of gel for medium-length hair. Always apply to soaking wet hair and distribute evenly by scrunching upwards.
Is it better to air dry or diffuse when using your styling products?
Both work beautifully with our products. Air drying gives you natural, relaxed curls. Diffusing gives more volume and can speed up drying time, especially if you diffuse upside down for extra lift at the roots.
How much product should I use?
Every curl is different, but here's a little guide to get you started! For thicker hair, we recommend roughly the size of a large coin (or a grape!) of the styling products. For finer curls, go a little smaller with the Creme – even as little as a pea-sized amount for really fine curls. With the gel, you can afford to be a little more generous; it's our lightest product and any excess can easily be scrunched out once your curls are dry.

How to apply mousse?
You can use the mousse in addition to the gel or on its own. All curls are unique, so you can see what works for you! Try applying it after the Creme, but before the gel for extra volume. The gel will create extra hold. There's no right or wrong.
